Do not fake your preference order

Assessors cross-check your PIQ, PI answers and body language. A candidate who writes "Air Force first" but cannot name a single IAF aircraft or squadron is immediately suspect. Pick the service you genuinely want — then build 10 concrete facts about it.

Medical reality check first

Before emotional preference, check medical standards. Flying branches (IAF and Naval Aviation) have the strictest eyesight and anthropometry rules. If you are borderline on height or vision, Army or Navy non-aviation branches may be your realistic path.

All three are equal in honour — different in daily life

No service is "superior". Army officers spend more time in field and CI areas. Navy officers spend months at sea away from family. Air Force Flying officers face intense operational tempo and medical re-checks throughout career. Talk to serving officers in each before locking preference.
