Exam difficulty and preparation overlap

Both exams test English, reasoning, numerical ability and GK in a 2-hour CBT. Preparation material overlaps heavily — one good GK + reasoning routine serves both. AFCAT adds EKT for technical branches; INET may add a subject paper for education/law entries. Attempt both if you are eligible — they do not clash if cycles are staggered.

SSB — same battery, different assessor culture

The tasks are identical (PPDT, TAT, WAT, SRT, SD, GTO, PI). AFSB assessors calibrate for air-mindedness and quick decision-making; NSB assessors look for sea temperament and team leadership in confined environments. Your PI will reference Flying/Navy motivation questions heavily.

Is INET easier than AFCAT?
